Addicon Logistics Management (S) Pte Ltd, one of the three mentor companies for the Supply Chain Challenge launched by The Singapore Logistics Association (SLA), work with the finalist from Nanyang Polytechnic and the team was mentored by Addicon’s Chief Operating Officer, Stanley Lim.
Although the team did not win, Mr Lim is not deterred from giving the participants an opportunity to work with Addicon. He firmly believes that companies should provide outstanding participants of the competition employment and even further their educational opportunities. This will further enhance the SMEs efforts to attract and retain talent.
Mr Lim: “This is a good way to nurture young talents to come to this industry and have a future in this industry and become a stayer. They create a future for themselves with upgrading of their skills.”
